The treebrowser in the left frame has links to
the various parts of the process. By clicking on a link, the corresponding topic is shown
in the main frame, that is, this window. |

The index and search buttons display each a new window, allowing you
to browse the index or enter a string for a free text search, respectively.
Navigation Buttons

The previous, up, and next buttons are context sensitive to the current page displayed in
the main frame. Previous, next, and up follow the same structure as the treebrowser in the
left frame.
The "Where am I" highlights the current page in treebrowser, and expands the
treebrowser if necessary.
Do not confuse previous and next with 'Back' and 'Forward' buttons in the web-browser.
'Back' and 'Forward' in the web browser, display pages in a history sequence.

The process overview table provides
links to all objects in the process. It is particularly useful when you know exactly what
you are looking for. |
Most pages have a button in the right border (as to the right of this
text). The purpose of this button is to make it possible to start the
Unified Process from an individual page in the process. Clicking on the button will make
the frames appear with the treebrowser, as well as the navigation buttons at the top.
Important: If you are already navigating using frames, nothing will
happen when you click on the button. Only a message will be presented. |
